CryoJane Tape-Transfer System achieves frozen sections of paraffin-quality as thin as 2 microns, wrinkle-free, uncompressed, fully intact and bonded to the microscope slide… in less than 3 minutes. A strip of tape is affixed to the cut face of the tissue block. A section is cut below the tape, and removed still adhered to the tape. The tape is placed on a precoated slide. The tape/slide is flashed with UV light, which release the adhesive on the tape, and activates an adhesive on the slide, securely anchoring the still frozen section to the slide. The section on the slide is now ready for fixation and/or staining as it would normally be done without the tape transfer. The CryoJane is indispensable for sectioning Frozen Tissue Arrays.

Due to the different applications and working fields the customer can choose between a manually operated POLYCUT M or the microprocessor controlled POLYCUT S, POLYCUT E and the CRYOPOLYCUT. The POLYCUT E can also be fitted with an optional ultramilling attachment.
