Use the touch screen monitor or the integrated keyboard to provide input. * Real-time base calling, The instrument software extracts intensities from images and performs quality-scored base calling on the instrument computer. This method allows monitoring of quality metrics during the run and saves time during subsequent data analysis. Downstream analysis of sequencing data can be performed with Illumina analysis software or third-party software on IlluminaCompute, Illumina BaseSpace, or a custom infrastructure. * BaseSpace, Sequence Hub integration, The sequencing workflow is integrated with BaseSpace Sequence Hub, the Illumina genomics computing environment for data analysis, storage, and collaboration. As the run progresses, output files are streamed in real time to BaseSpace Sequence Hub or BaseSpace Onsite Sequence Hub. These instruments were professionally decommissioned and moved to a storage building for future use as the lab was being renovated. The lease for the building these were located in was not renewed and the storage building is now being renovated, therefore these five HiSeq 2500 we purchased from this lab and we were informed that they all worked when they were decommissioned. We removed the lock down bracket for the flow cell stage to power the machine up and reinstalled the bracket when we turned it off (no other testing was done). Table shown not included.
